Waterproof flooring:worry-proof & stress-free with benefits

Since home moisture comes from many sources, including steamy showers, leaky pipes, spills, and drops, everyone needs waterproof floors. When you have waterproof floors, they will always remain undamaged, no matter how much liquid there is or for how long. You'll never have to worry about peeling, rippling, or staining ever again.

What does waterproof mean?

This and the phrase "water-resistant" are often used interchangeably, but they are two different things. When something is impervious to liquid, it's made of waterproof materials and is impenetrable from bottom to top. This means that whether it's submerged or spilled on, it won't absorb and peel or ripple; when something is resistant to water, it repels, but only for a short time before it soaks through to the core.

Waterproof vinyl flooring: All the style of luxury vinyl (LVF)

This is a newer, more advanced version of LVF that's even thicker and more durable. It has four layers, including a backing from bottom to top, which provides stability and sound insulation. The cores, which can be WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite), are technologically advanced and offer the highest level of moisture protection.

Next is the printed layer, where images of wood, stone, and tile are taken with 3D photography, so they're clear and vibrant with knots, swirls, raised grains, veining variations, bright colors, and lively patterns. You can get anything, whether you want the latest trends or classic favorites. Micro beveling and embossing add depth, dimension, and textured appearances such as wire-brushed, hand scraped, weathered, and distressed.

The material is cut into planks for added realism, but you also prefer, into groutable, tile-sized pieces. At the top is a thick, clear melamine coating (the wear layer) that protects the floor from scratches and scuffs. Keep in mind that there are always two measurements, including plank/tile and wear layer thickness.

Waterproof laminate flooring: now it can be installed in any room

Mainly associated with wood looks, laminate has long been a favorite. A new version has a unique construction that makes it spill-proof, eliminating concerns about absorption and staining. It's now suitable for any room, including kitchens and baths where it was once avoided because of moisture issues.

“The installers went above and beyond to do a great job, ripping out 40 years of subflooring, installing as requested, and even fixing a broken appliance in the process." This was on one of our reviews, and this is the kind of superior service that results in our consistently receiving 5-star ratings.
